( Problem )
Presence Practice explores the tension between constant digital stimulation and our ability to remain present. The challenge was to translate DJ Gigola’s experimental track into a visual experience that could capture attention without adding to the noise.
( Solution )
We created a minimalist audiovisual concept centered on a frozen flower slowly melting in sync with the music. Through practical experiments with water, heat and timelapse, the teaser turns gradual transformation into a hypnotic expression of presence, supported by a cohesive visual identity.
( Impact )
The project received a LAUS InBook Award in 2025 in the Audiovisual category, placing it among the selected student works recognized by Barcelona’s ADG-FAD for creative and conceptual excellence. ADG-FAD · SHIFTA
